The XII-th Old Car Land '2021 - the festival, held in Kiev at the end of May, delighted the audience with new models of historic cars that had never been presented at Kiev oldtimers exhibitions before.

The prize for the oldest car this time went to the 1912 Ford T. It is he who is considered the first affordable car, which was produced in millions of copies and in fact "put America on wheels."

The main prize of the festival this year went to the luxurious 1965 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL. This lightweight sports car was equipped with an automatic transmission and was very popular with women as it was easy to drive and had an elegant design.

The cult Citroen DS, produced in 1973, won the prize in the category "Movie Hero". The car gained popularity thanks to the revolutionary design from Bertoni and innovative technologies that set new standards for ride quality at the time.

The "Legendary Car award" went to a 1959 Bentley S2, once owned by President Kennedy's family.

The 1949 Peugeot 203 won first place in the Best Foreign Car Restoration nomination. This car was the first Peugeot model to be produced after World War II.

The best equipment from the Second World War was presented at the festival by the 701st Light Repair Company of the 1st Division of the US Army. The 1943 Dodge WC54 won the "Best Truck of the Festival" award.

The prize for "The Longest Run in Ukraine" was awarded to a 1975 Mercedes-Benz W116. Such a car was driven by the legendary poet, musician and actor Vladimir Vysotsky.

For the creation of the best custom car, the prize was awarded to a red Red Rod pickup, made on the basis of a 1969 GAZ.

Other interesting examples of historical technology also attracted attention. In particular, a collection of Ukrainian moto-bicycles and mini-motorcycles. Restored samples from the 1930s to the 1980s of the twentieth century, which were produced at Ukrainian motorcycle factories.
